Principal Responsibilities:

1. Order Fulfillment
• Process customer orders in a timely manner through MYOB and/or Virtue Mart, and ensuring that all the relevant terms and conditions are properly applied to the orders
• Pick and verify that the picked products are correct, then pack in an orderly and secure manner to prevent damage in transit
• Prepare and verify that the address label and delivery documents are accurate to prevent shipping errors and/or delays
• Arrange and liaise with a parcel pickup service, and/or mail the parcel through the local postal service
• Communicate regularly with the customer throughout the entire order processing and fulfilment process
• File all fulfilment related documents neatly for easy and quick retrieval

2. Magazine Subscription
• Process all new magazine subscriptions through MYOB with the starting and ending month clearly stated, then adding the required details into the master subscribers file
• Track and follow-up, if needed, on the monthly magazine delivery, then complete a Goods Received transaction in MYOB for actual quantities received
• Pick, pack, prepare, and mail the monthly subscriptions through the local postal service
• Maintain the master subscribers file and promptly take steps to send renewal reminders for expiring subscriptions

3. Book Table
• Assist in the product selection and packing for book tables
• Participate in the assigned book tables
• Assist in the reconciliation of cash and stocks from book tables

4. Onsite Store Operation
• Assist in the day-to-day sales transactions and customer enquiries at the store
• Maintain the products in a neat fashion on the designated shelves, and replenishing when needed
• Affix price labels onto products with the Retail Price as per MYOB, and highlight any inconsistencies to the Resource Executive

5. Inventory Management
• Inspect the condition of all incoming stocks and report any damages to the Resource Executive
• Perform a physical count of all incoming stocks and report any discrepancies to the Resource Executive, then complete a Goods Received transaction in MYOB for actual quantities received
• Coordinate the movement of stocks between the storage areas and onsite store
• Assist in the annual stock-take

Requirements:

• At least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM).
• A minimum of six months part-time or full-time working experience in a retail or customer service environment. 
• High proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Medium proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Chinese is desirable. 
• Core Competencies: Result-oriented, Customer Focus 
• Physically fit as moderate to heavy lifting is occasionally required.
