To ensure a positive and productive volunteer experience, applicants are required to be at least 18 years old.

Skills:

  • Warm Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for engaging participants


Other requirements:

  • Time - weekends
  • Attend a pre-event Zoom briefing


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with roles and given tasks on event day (event day programme assistance)
  • Pre-Event Setup: Set up materials, activity stations, and registrations booths
  • Registrar: Welcome participants, pass them tags and goodie bags
  • Activity Station Manager: Keep track of participants, assist them where needed

Skills:

  • Accuracy: Attention to detail when cutting, sorting, and packing


Other requirements:

  • Time - weekdays leading up to event day


Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Event Preparation: Cutting materials, sorting, and packing

Skills:

  • Accuracy: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate stock, sales and payment
  • Customer service: Excellent Interpersonal skills with a proactive and helpful attitude toward customers
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for engaging potential customers
  • Language proficiency: Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese is an advantage
  • Physical Strength: Capable of lifting and carrying boxes of books weighing around 12kg


Other requirements:

  • Time - weekends
  • Transportation: Personal vehicle for transporting books and materials


Responsibilities:

  • Book Sales: Actively engage with event attendees to promote, recommend and sell English and Chinese books
  • Setup and Display: Set up and arrange books for display and promotional materials, ensuring an attractive presentation
  • Inventory and Sale Management: Keep accurate records of book inventory, sales and payment, addressing any discrepancies promptly
  • Transportation: Transport books and promotional materials from FOFM office to event venues and back using personal vehicle

Skills:

  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant skills or experience


Other requirements:

  • Time - weekday school hours (Youth), evenings and/or weekends


Responsibilities:

  • Capture programme highlights and heart warming moments at FOFM events
  • Edit photos to enhance visuals or correct any issues
  • Present edited photos within 3 days post event

Skills:

  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant skills or experience


Other Requirement:

  • Time - weekday evenings and/or weekends


Responsibilities:

  • Capture programme highlights and heartwarming moments at FOFM events
  • Assist in capturing interviews of participants with a FOFM staff
  • Edit video footage based on given specifications by FOFM
  • Expected turnaround time of 30-60 days

Skills:

  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant skills or experience
  • Prior experience with FOFM events would be a bonus


Other requirements:

  • Time - school days, i.e. weekdays day time


Responsibilities:

  • Attend a half day’s briefing on the programme curriculum and go through the programme material in your own time
  • Facilitate a class and engage youth on boundaries, values, and relationship building
  • Play pre-recorded videos & facilitate an activity/reflection

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creation and updating of web pages

  • Assist on research for articles relevant to marriage, parenting, youths and family

  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant skills or experience

Responsibilities:

  • Write copy for FOFM’s social media (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Keep up-to-date with current social media content trends (Reels, Video styles)

Skills:

  • Familiar with up-to-date parenting/ marriage/ relationship /youth topics in Chinese context
  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant skills or experience
  • Own laptop


Other requirements:

  • Work from home and flexible timing
  • Own a laptop/desktop


Responsibilities:

  • Capable to write/edit/translate relevant articles and stories
  • Follow pre-planned schedule and topic

Skills:
