Workshop Synopsis
The objective of this talk is for teens to start thinking about the commonly held beliefs of love and sex, and to introduce them to the right idea of love and sex.
Part 1: The Human Person Model
Give teens a systemic way to filter what they read, watch and listen to.
Part 2: What They Say about Love and Sex (True or False)
- Sex is dirty (False)
- Sex is not just a physical act (True)
- Sex is the same as love (False)
- Looking at pornography is normal and harmless; it will not affect how I view love and sex (False)
- Most teenagers want to have lasting, loving relationships (True)
Each statement will be further elaborated with illustrations and content adapted from our No Apologies® programme.
Part 3: A Thriving Human Person
Challenging teens to grow in each of the areas in the Human Person Model because a healthy relationship begins with two whole and healthy individuals.
