Why Teach No Apologies®?
This virtual No Apologies® Training of Facilitators aims to equip individuals with the heart for young people to carry the message of No Apologies® to their local community. Developed by Focus on the Family®, an international non-profit ministry, No Apologies® is a character-based curriculum that helps young people make wise choices in life including sexual abstinence before marriage. Its primary goal is to communicate that saving sex for marriage is the safest, healthiest and wisest choice.
Objective of No Apologies® Training
Help facilitators to equip young people with the following principles:
A mutually faithful monogamous
relationship within the context of marriage is the expected standard of human sexual activity.
Abstaining from sexual activity outside marriage brings about social, psychological and health gains.
Bearing children out of wedlock is likely to have harmful consequences for the child, the child’s parents and society.
Abstinence from sexual activity is the only certain way to avoid pregnancy out of wedlock, sexually transmitted infections and other associated health problems.
It is important to attain wholeness and maturity before engaging in sexual activity.
